Every region needs that 3-stage, regional bird Pokémon. Seeing as how the starting town will be a very rural place, I figured: what better regional bird than a chicken?

Gibbling and Doodledoo are, for the most part, very simple minded Pokémon. They wander around feeding on grains that the townsfolk throw out for them, and don’t do much else (except feed the villagers, of course). Cockatrace, however, is a huge and powerful Flying-type Pokémon that can certainly change the tide of a battle.

Cockatrace is capable of pushing large gusts of wind over its wings to accelerate its already fast flying speed. Combined with quick reflexes, and fast attacks, this Pokémon is very powerful for a regional bird indeed. As a result, however, it evolves much later than normal regional birds, reaching its final form at Level 40 rather than the normal 36-ish.

BSTs for Gibbling and Doodledoo are very low, at 200 and 320 respectively. That final evolution into Cockatrace, however, will push that up to a nice 520, with its strengths being Speed and Attack, and its only real weak point being HP.
